Teams & roles
Workspaces, members, and a five-role permission model. Designed so that the right people can ship, and the wrong people can't break billing or revoke keys.
Every Playgent account is a workspace. Players, content, themes, streams, API keys, and webhooks all belong to a workspace. Members are invited by email and assigned a role.
Roles
| Role | Can do | Can't do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including delete the workspace. | — |
| Admin | Manage members (except other owners), all configuration, billing. | Delete the workspace. |
| Developer | Create / revoke API keys; configure webhooks; view players, themes, streams. | Manage members; access billing details. |
| Editor | Create and edit content, players, themes. | Touch API keys, webhooks, members, billing. |
| Analyst | Read-only access to analytics. | Modify anything. |
Inviting
Settings → Workspace → Members → Invite member. Pick the role at invite-time; you can change it later. Pending invites can be resent or revoked.
Multi-factor auth
Owners and admins can require MFA for everyone in the workspace under Settings → Workspace. Members who haven't set up an authenticator app are blocked from sensitive actions until they do.
Activity log
Settings → Workspace → Activity records what happened, when, and by whom — role changes, key creation, webhook updates, MFA toggles. Useful for audits and post-incident reviews.
Leaving a workspace
Members can leave from Settings → Workspace → General. Owners must transfer ownership before they can leave (or delete the workspace outright).
